Technology Landscape

You need this when

You are entering a therapeutic area or platform space and need to know who actually matters. Your team has a list of names from conferences and databases, but no reliable way to separate credible programmes from well-funded noise.

What you get

A qualified map of the space — not a list, a judgement.

1. Landscape structure. The technological approaches in play, how they differ, and where each sits on the maturity curve.

2. Player qualification. Companies and academic groups active in the space, assessed on scientific substance, development stage, funding position, and IP posture.

3. Industrial feasibility read. For the leading approaches: can this be manufactured at commercial scale? What does the route look like? Where are the cost and supply-chain pressure points? This is the layer most landscape reports omit.

4. Prioritised shortlist. A ranked set of partnering or acquisition targets, with the rationale for each and the specific questions to ask in a first conversation.

5. Debrief session. A working session with your team to pressure-test conclusions and align on next steps.

Format

  • Duration: 4–6 weeks
  • Deliverable: written report [+ slide summary] + live debrief
  • Investment: from € 35,000

How we work

We start with a scoping call to define the boundary of the space — this matters more than anything else, and getting it wrong is the most common failure mode in scouting projects. We agree the perimeter in writing before starting.

You get a checkpoint at the midpoint, so direction can be corrected while it is still cheap to do so.
